Maybe you have no idea why you feel this way. You’re anxious, stressed, overwhelmed or full of self-doubt. A part of you might know you’re capable of more but something keeps holding you back.
Or maybe you have a good idea why. Perhaps you’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, done the therapy, but you just can’t seem to shift it.
Either way, you’re done feeling like this, and that’s probably why you’re here. And if you’ve started to think this is just who you are, it isn’t.
I’m Matt Eadie, a therapist and coach who helps people move from feeling held back or stuck in old patterns to feeling capable, confident and free to reclaim their agency. Together we build your capacity for real change, shift the unconscious patterns driving your behaviour, and put you back in the driver’s seat to make the changes you want and need.
Everyone’s situation is different, but there are some things I hear a lot. Anxiety that’s been there so long it feels like part of your personality. Overthinking that’s holding you back or stress that won’t switch off. Reacting to situations in ways that don’t feel connected to who you are, or getting in your own way when it matters most.
The people I work with start to feel calmer, more confident, and more connected to who they truly are. They make decisions from a place of clarity and growth rather than fear. They rediscover the activities, experiences and goals that make life feel fun and meaningful, and start living with more agency, more flow, and more of what actually matters to them.
Like pretty much every human that’s walked the planet, I’ve had my fair share of triumphant moments, but also times where I’ve navigated life’s challenges with the grace of a blindfolded giraffe on roller skates.
My journey into this work could easily be called the long way round. For years I struggled with anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, self-sabotage, and a version of myself that felt completely disconnected from the life I wanted. I was convinced the way I felt was simply who I was, that I was wired this way, and that nothing could change it. It was hard.
What changed wasn’t becoming someone new. It was changing how I experienced myself and how I perceived the world around me. Through my own therapy and coaching journey, I discovered that many of the things I believed were fixed parts of my identity were actually patterns that could be understood, worked through, and changed.
Now I help others do the same by helping you access the confidence, resilience, knowledge and capacity that’s been there all along. Sometimes you just need a helping hand to get there.
I’ve spent years training across a wide range of therapeutic and coaching modalities because I genuinely believe different people need different approaches at different stages of their journey. My work is grounded in the latest neuroscience and evidence-based research, which means we’re not just talking, we’re actively working to rewire the patterns driving your behaviour.

No two people are the same, and no two journeys look the same either. I’ve never believed in a one size fits all approach to therapy or coaching. That’s why I’ve spent years training across multiple modalities, so I have a wide range of tools to draw from and can work with what’s actually showing up for you, rather than fitting you into a predetermined box.
I also work with businesses and teams, delivering interactive workshops and talks on anxiety, stress, performance and why capable people keep getting in their own way. If you’re looking to support your team’s wellbeing and performance in a way that creates lasting change, I’d love to talk.
